Canon devices have various specifications and provide good service to the user. These devices are simple to set and access. The user can configure the printer with various devices. But while using the printer, the user may make errors. Whenever the Canon printer gets into error, the orange light starts blinking. The user has to inspect the error for fixing the orange light issues.

Troubleshooting Canon printer orange light blinking error
Load pages on the tray
When the Canon orange light blinks twice, you have to check the paper tray. The error appears when the user gives a print command to the Canon printer when there is no page on the tray. Go to the printer and then load pages. Now restart the printer and it will start working. When you are taking printouts simultaneously, load lots of pages at once. Make sure you are not overloading the paper tray.
Remove the paper jam from the printer
If the orange light blinks three times; the Canon printer is in paper jam. New Canon devices barely get the jam. But still, the error can appear when the pages are not loaded correctly. You have to close the Canon printer and then check the inside of the printer. Remove the paper chunks and then clean the printer. Once the user cleans the printer, it will start taking the printouts. Paper jams usually occur when the pages on the tray are not aligned. Check the tray and remove all pages. Now align the rim and then reload it.
Insert the cartridge on the Cartridge
When the Canon Pixma MG2570 light blinking four times then you need to check the cartridge. You get this error when the printer has no cartridge. Without the ink cartridge, you can’t take the printouts. Go to the printer and then open the cartridge door. Insert the cartridges and then close the access door. Restart the printer and it will find the cartridge and then you can take the printouts. Few users reported that they get this error after installing the new cartridge. It happens when the cartridge pins are not touching the printer contacts. Go to the Canon printer and remove the cartridges. Check the ends as you may have forgotten to remove the protective clips. These clips are attached to prevent mishandling issues. But the user has to remove the tapes before installing the cartridges. After removing the clips, install cartridges carefully and now the orange light won’t blink anymore.
Clean the Canon printhead
If the Canon printer is not working correctly; the lamp will blink five times. The printheads stop working due to overheating. When the printhead error appears, shut down the printer for a while. Once the printhead cools down; it will start working. Another issue is the clogged printhead. The printhead needs to clean regularly. The dried ink gets stuck and the printhead can’t move or print correctly. For cleaning it, users can access the utility service. Go to the printer properties page and choose the maintenance tab. Select Deep Cleaning and then choose the ink group. Tap on Execute and the printhead will start cleaning. After cleaning, restart the Canon printer and check for the orange light.
Reinstall the cartridge
When the orange light blinks 6 times; inspect the cartridge. This means the printer finds the cartridge but is unable to use it. You will get this error when the cartridge is not installed properly. Remove and install the ink cartridge. Also, Canon shows this error when the user has installed a clone cartridge. Never use a clone cartridge for the printer as it won’t work and shows errors.
If the orange light is blinking six times, remove and reinstall the output tray. The user will get the 8 flashes when the cartridge is fully empty. You have to reinstall a new ink cartridge on his Canon device.
